VšĮ ‘Lietuvos nacionalinis radijas ir televizija’ (engl. Public Establishment ‘Lithuanian National Radio and Television’), legal entity code 124241078, registered at S. Konarskio str. 49, Vilnius (hereinafter, LRT or we/us), is committed to ensuring security of your personal data and protecting your rights in relation to use of our LRT portal and/or LRT apps and their content.
To implement the duties in this relation, LRT follows the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Legal Protection of Personal Data, Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Electronic Communications as well as other legislation regulating protection of personal data and legal protection of privacy.

Personal data processed by LRT
We process your personal data based on your consent. Personal data that we process about you comes from you as the information provided during subscription to our portal or apps and creation of personal account, including such data as your full name, e-mail address, and user login-in.
If login via social media such as Facebook or LinkedIn is selected for access to LRT portal and apps, you grant the right to Facebook or LinkedIn for sharing your account info with us, and thus, the source of your personal data obtained by us would become, accordingly, Facebook or LinkedIn. LRT in such case processes your data obtained from Facebook or LinkedIn account, i.e. full name and e-mail address.
Purposes of Personal Data Processing
LRT processes your personal data on LRT portal or the apps:
- to give you the best possible experience of using our portal and apps to better respond your needs;
- to ensure smooth administration of the portal and apps;
- to timely and adequately respond to your requests;
- to provide you with an opportunity of writing comments in LRT portal;
- to enable LRT making statistical and other analysis for continuous improvement of the portal or apps content and services offered;
- to offer subscription to LRT newsletters.
Personal information processed for direct marketing purposes will be retained for a maximum period of 2 years. Longer period of personal data retention may apply exclusively in the following cases:
- where a reasonable suspicion of unlawful practice subject to investigation exists;
- where your personal data is necessary for the dispute or complaint to be properly addressed;
- where customer related complaints have been received, or breaches by a relevant customer have been identified by us;
- on other specific grounds provided for in the applicable legislation.
Such personal data will be erased (destroyed) immediately following the legitimate instructions given by law enforcement or other authorized bodies.
Personal Data Transfer
We do not share personal information with third parties, except as necessary for provision of our services and as required or permitted by law (e.g. with law enforcement institutions, courts).
Disclosure of personal information to third parties is subject to your prior consent.

Information from Minors
LRT portal may have the content (TV programs, movies, etc.) that is age-restricted.
Processing of information from minors on the basis of consent in relation to the offer of information society services is lawful if a child is at least 14 years old. Where the child is below the age of 14 years, such processing shall be lawful only if and to the extent that consent is given or authorized by the holder of parental responsibility over the child.

Cookies we use on LRT portal to personalize content and customize your browsing experience are also subject to your consent, except for essential cookies. By using cookies, we aim at:

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that may be placed on your computer, tablet or smart device when you visit a website. Cookies allow saving such data as IP address of your device, browser type / version, demographic data (age group, gender), your browsing patterns (pages visited, content of interest).

Essential cookies are the cookies used to provide an online service which you have requested such as login to user’ account;
PHPSESSED, linkedin_oauth_7c46fi5ef8eh_crc are used EXCLUSIVELY during a browsing session;
Google Analytics that provides the information on your previous use of LRT portal, and availability of cookies saved. This information allows identifying unique number of LRT portal visitors and frequency of visits. Such cookies assist in collecting and systematizing statistical information;

Third party advertising cookies: many ads you can see on LRT portal belong to third parties with some of those using anonymous cookies to track the number of people who have seen a particular advertisement, or a number of people who saw such advertisement more than once. These third parties have their own policies, and we have no influence over creating or using their cookies. We recommend that you separately review Privacy or Cookies Policy of such third parties usually available on their websites.
Other third party cookies: some of our pages may contain anonymous cookies of third parties to customize their apps or programs to your needs. However, in view of their specifics, LRT has no access to such cookies the same as other entities have no access to our cookies. For example, if you share our article by clicking the social share button on LRT portal (e.g. to share on Facebook), such will be saved on the social network having created a relevant share button.

In accordance with the applicable legislation regulating protection of personal data, you may exercise the following rights:the right to be informed of your personal data processed by LRT;
the right of access to your personal data processed by us;
the right to rectification of incorrect or inaccurate data concerning yourself;
the right to erasure of all personal data if such are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
the right of erasure of personal data that have been unlawfully processed;
the right to restriction of processing if such is in compliance with the criteria defined by the applicable legislation;
the right to object to processing of your personal data;
the right to withdraw your consent given for direct marketing or cookies.
Upon receipt of your relevant request or instructions, we will respond at the latest within 30 (thirty) calendar days by notifying of the steps taken or by giving reasons for not complying with your request.
In case you submit a request associated with exercise of the above rights, it might be necessary for us to establish your identity asking you for additional data or documents. All such additional data will be used exclusively for the purposes of your identification, and will be subject to secure deletion immediately thereafter.
