1. Subject and purpose.

1.1. The Privacy Policy of the Public Institution Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) has been drawn up in implementation of the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“the Regulation”), as well as of the other legal acts regulating protection of personal data.

1.2. The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to set out the principles for the processing of personal data when using the services provided by LRT, as well as to define your rights as a data subject and LRT's obligations as a data controller.

1.3. In this Privacy Policy, you will find all the information about what data we collect and process, what we use it for, how long we keep it, etc. This information is important, and we hope you will read it carefully.

1.4. It should be noted that where personal data are processed for journalistic purposes or for purposes of academic, artistic or literary expression, this Privacy Policy does not apply and the provisions of the Law on Public Information of the Republic of Lithuania directly apply.

2. Identification of the controller and purpose of the activity.

2.1. Lithuanian National Radio and Television is a public broadcaster offering high-quality, meaningful TV, radio and news portal content, mobile app services, as well as various projects, competitions and games.

3. Principles for processing personal data.

3.1. When processing your personal data, we adhere to the following principles of personal data processing:

3.1.1. We process your personal data lawfully, transparently and fairly;

3.1.2. We process personal data only for the specific purposes expressly set out in this Privacy Policy and only to the extent necessary to achieve the specific purpose;

3.1.3. We take steps to ensure that personal data is accurate, updated where necessary, and promptly corrected if inaccurate;

3.1.4. We store your personal data for the period of time specified in the Privacy Policy, but no longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, and then securely destroy it;

3.1.5. For the security of personal data, we have put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage to data.

4. A description of the processes by which your personal data is collected and processed.

4.1. We collect and process your personal data in connection with the provision of these LRT services or the use of these functionalities:

4.1.1. When you use the LRT mobile apps;

4.1.2. When you browse, read or watch news on the LRT web portal: lrt.lt;

4.1.3. When you comment on articles published on lrt.lt;

4.1.4. When you provide feedback, questions, suggestions on a specific platform / section for expressing your opinion;

4.1.5. When you use the LRT newsletter subscription service;

4.1.6. When you visit LRT for filming, events or excursions on LRT premises;

4.1.7. When you take part in LRT's non-permanent projects, competitions and games;

4.1.8. When you purchase licensed audiovisual and sound recordings from the LRT archive archyvai.lrt.lt online shop;

4.1.9. When you take part in non-permanent competitions organised by LRT and published on our portal www.lrt.lt and/or on our Facebook account;

4.1.10. When LRT monitors the area.

4.2. Your personal data that will be collected and processed during these processes, the purposes and deadlines of processing, the sources of data collection, the recipients of personal data are indicated in this Privacy Policy.

4.3. The rules on the processing of personal data for individual services (e.g. non-permanent projects, competitions, games) may be set out or detailed in separate publicly available terms and conditions for the provision of these services, which you will be asked to familiarise yourself with prior to receiving the service and, in all cases, prior to providing your personal data to us.

5. Processing of your personal data when using LRT mobile applications.

5.1. When you use LRT mobile applications (e.g. Prototo, lrt.lt., etc.), we may collect and process your personal data:

5.1.1. Your personal data received during registration in the mobile application: your email address, the username you have created, and, if you are logged in via Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, the personal data indicated in your public profile of the relevant social network;

5.1.2. Your actions on the mobile app, including technical data (IP address, login technical information), performance data (e.g. game results).

5.2. The basis for the processing of personal data is your consent, which you provide when registering on the mobile application. The source of this data is you, either by providing your personal data required for registration and subsequently using the functionalities of the mobile app, or the service provider (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Apple, etc.) from which we receive data about you when you first log in to the mobile app, i.e., the relevant personal data provided in your social network profile. When you connect through social networking profiles, you may be asked to provide non-public personal data contained in your social networking profile, in which case you will be able to agree to provide non-public personal data from your social networking profile, or to withdraw your consent.

5.3. Any personal data we collect (e.g. your contact details) are necessary not only to ensure the smooth operation of the mobile app, but also to fulfil our obligations to you (e.g. to contact you to claim your prize).

5.4. You can withdraw your consent at any time by de-registering on the mobile app or by contacting us.

5.5. We keep your personal data for as long as you are registered and use the mobile app, if you delete the app, your data will be deleted immediately. Please note if you are registering via social networking profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) Your data will be stored for an appropriate period of time as specified in the privacy policy of the relevant social network.

6. Processing of your personal data when you browse, read or view news on the web portal.

6.1. The following personal data is collected when you visit the lrt.lt web portal: Your device's IP address, browsing time and history, other additional technical data such as your browser type, screen resolution, video player information.

6.2. You are the source of all this data, but your personal data is obtained automatically when you browse the website customised by means of so-called cookies (small text files that your web browser installs on your computer, tablet or smart device).

6.3. We collect and process this data to ensure the smooth provision of the service, to maintain and improve the functionality of the website, to measure the size of the audience, to record browsing habits, and to help identify the user and their interests.

6.4. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is your consent to the use of cookies, which is obtained when you visit the web portal and click on the checkboxes “Allow all cookies” / “” or “Strictly necessary cookies”, but we would like to draw your attention to the fact that, in some cases, (for the so-called “essential cookies”), you will not need to give consent, as these latter are used for the maintenance of the technical structure and the content of the website.

6.5. We use the information we receive from cookies for the following purposes:

  • to ensure the functionality of the Website (e.g. to enable you to use a personalised Website);
  • so that we can improve and develop the Website to better meet your needs;
  • for the development of services and analysis of the use of the Website;
  • for targeted marketing.

7. Processing of your personal data when you post comments to articles published on the internet portal lrt.lt.

7.1. When you post comments to articles published on the internet portal lrt.lt, the following personal data is collected and processed: the username under which you are registered in your Facebook account and the image in this account (if you are posting such an image), and the content of your comment. Please note that not only the text of your comment, but also the username under which you are logged in to your Facebook account and the image (if you post one) will be made publicly available and will appear next to the text of your comment.

7.2. We collect your personal data in order to allow you to express your opinion on news and events published by LRT, to publish additional information, to reply to an already published comment, and the data that identifies you, as indicated in your Facebook account, is published in order to encourage responsible, non-violating opinions and, in case of complaints, to facilitate the redress of the violated rights.

7.3. The basis for processing personal data is your consent, which you have provided by reading this Privacy Policy prior to publishing the comment, as well as where the processing of the data is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interest of the controller or a third party (e.g., in order to facilitate the assertion of the rights of third parties violated by LRT and by the content of the comment).

8. Processing of your personal data when you provide feedback, questions, suggestions, information on a specific platform/section to express your opinion, when you anonymously report potentially corrupt practices on a specific platform, or when you make a telephone call.

8.1. Your views on our activities are very important to us and we are open to your suggestions, feedback and criticism, and our research department welcomes your input on topics of public interest that merit journalistic investigation. We are also building an anti-corruption culture within the institution and striving for full transparency in LRT's activities. For this purpose, there are online platforms/sections (e.g. https://apie.lrt.lt/kontaktai/rasykite-mums; https://apie.lrt.lt/lrt/lrt/zurnalistika/tyrimu-skyrius; https://apie.lrt.lt/skaidrumas/korupcijos-prevencija etc.) where you can submit your opinions, feedback, questions or any other information. You can also submit your position, question or information to us by using the publicly available telephone numbers of LRT employees (journalists, LRT management, other employees), as well as by sending a general email to lrt@lrt.lt, pranesk@lrt.lt.

8.2. Detailed rules and forms for submitting feedback, questions, suggestions and other relevant information are set out in the specific publicly available rules of the platform/section, but when you use the opportunity to submit a question or information to us, we may collect and process your personal data:

8.2.1. name and surname (only if you wish to identify yourself);

8.2.2. a telephone number or email address (only if you wish to receive a reply from us or if your email address is generated automatically for the purpose of contacting you);

8.2.3. the text of the feedback, question, suggestion, information (when you contact us by email);

8.2.4. technical data: The IP address of your device, other technical login information (when you contact us by email), the date and time of the phone call;

8.2.5. an audio recording (on the telephone).

8.3. In all cases, you are the source of this personal data, and you are the only one who controls the personal data that you provide to us, so all of this personal data is collected and processed on the basis of your consent. You give your consent to the processing of your personal data by reading the Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use of the platform/section and generating the text of the email, and if you contact us by phone, by listening to a message about the processing of your personal data and continuing the conversation. Please note that when you make a telephone call, an audio recording of the telephone conversation is made, which, with your consent, may be used and disclosed in LRT's activities (e.g., in LRT programme reports).

8.4. Your personal data received via email will be stored for a maximum of 14 calendar days.

8.5. Your personal data obtained during a telephone conversation is stored for a maximum of 1 year (e.g. for reporting purposes).

8.6. Your personal data received by email or telephone may be stored for longer than this period only if further processing purposes require it, e.g., in the event of an investigation based on a report from you regarding possible unlawful actions of LRT employees, or in order to facilitate the assertion of the rights violated by LRT employees, or in the event of a report that, in our opinion, may be used for the purpose of preparing a future report.

8.7. After the expiry of the specified time limits, all your personal data will be securely destroyed.

9. Processing of your personal data when subscribing to LRT newsletters.

9.1. When you subscribe to LRT newsletters, we collect and process the following personal data: your email address, newsletter ordering information, login technical information.

9.2. We collect this personal data in order to enable you to receive information about new features of our web portal, specific sections, programmes, promotions, organised events, new and updated services.

9.3. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is your consent, which is obtained by reading this Privacy Policy and confirming your consent to order the newsletter. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the end of each newsletter.

9.4. Your personal data is stored for as long as you subscribe to the newsletter and your consent is stored for 1 year after cancellation. After the expiry of the retention period, all your personal data will be securely destroyed.

10. Processing of your personal data when you visit LRT filming, events or excursions taking place on LRT premises.

10.1. When you attend LRT filming, events or excursions on LRT premises, your personal data may be collected and processed for the purpose of controlling access to LRT premises, as well as for the purpose of participating in and publicly appearing at LRT-organised excursions, filming and events: your name, the organisation or educational establishment you represent (if you are coming as a representative of an organisation or educational establishment), your arrival/entry time.

10.2. This personal data is collected and processed for the purpose of controlling access to LRT premises, participation in excursions and public displays at filming and events organised by LRT.

10.3. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is your consent, which is obtained when you register for events held at LRT premises by telephone or email. This data, which you provided, is necessary to enable you to participate in LRT events, filming or excursions.

10.4. If a group of persons under the age of 14 participates in an LRT filming, event or excursion, the leader of the group, representing the educational institution, undertakes to inform the legal representatives of minors under the age of 14 that their data will be processed for the purposes set out above, and to obtain the consent to process such data, and to provide evidence of such processing on request of LRT.

10.5. The data required for an access permit to LRT premises shall be stored for a maximum of 2 years, and the electronic access control data collected during the access control shall be stored for a maximum of 3 years, after which all personal data shall be securely destroyed.

11. Processing of your personal data by LRT in the context of video surveillance of the territory.

11.1. In order to ensure the protection of LRT, our employees, our visitors and the property of other persons, LRT carries out video surveillance on its premises and on the territory of LRT.

11.2. Please also note that the LRT premises and the LRT territory are filmed, so when you arrive at the LRT, you are in the field of video surveillance conducted by the LRT, and your personal data, such as your image and the make, model and licence plate number of your vehicle (in case you are arriving by car or any other means of transport), are also collected and processed for the purpose of the protection of persons and property. In all cases, you will be additionally informed about the video surveillance carried out by means of information signs indicating the camera's placement and the purpose of the surveillance (for the purpose of the protection of persons and property, the image is being monitored), as well as the name and details of the controller and the contact details of the data protection officer.

11.3. We carry out video surveillance and process the data of our employees and visitors (video data) in the field of video surveillance on the basis of legitimate interest.

11.4. The total storage period for video surveillance data is 28 calendar days, however, if the fact of causing damage to LRT is recorded, the storage period shall be extended until LRT is compensated for the damage, and in case of a violation of the law - until the time specified by the state authorised authorities.

12. Processing of personal data of minors.

12.1. The services and content we offer are generally not intended for minors under the age of 14. In individual cases where relevant products (e.g. children's drawing competitions) are aimed at minors under the age of 14, we ask that the child's personal data, and only that which is necessary (e.g. only the child's name and age is requested), is provided by the child's legal representatives, which is why LRT does not at any time offer information society services directly to children.

12.2. If you are under the age of 14 and wish to receive the services offered by LRT on the web portal or to attend LRT events, we will ask you to provide the consent of a parent or guardian.

12.3. If you become aware that your child or ward under the age of 14 has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us immediately so that we can delete the personal data processed without legitimate grounds.

13. Processing of your personal data when you purchase licensed audiovisual and sound recordings from the LRT archive from the archyvai.lrt.lt online shop.

13.1. When you purchase licensed audiovisual and sound recordings from the LRT Archive (hereinafter referred to as “Works”), we may collect and process the following personal data about you when you register and create an LRT.lt account:

13.1.1. When you register with LRT.lt, we process the following personal data: Your registration and login details: Your name, telephone number, email address; Your technical/administrative data necessary for the administration and security of your account: user ID, IP address, technical data of logins to your account and account activity.

13.1.2. When you place an order and provide us with your data necessary for its execution, when you contact us with a request, enquiry, complaint, etc., we process the following personal data: Your identification data: Your name and contact details: Your telephone number, email address, residential address, other personal data such as the name and details of your company, institution, if you are acting on behalf of a legal person, other information you provide to us about yourself.

13.1.3. When you make a payment for the Works, when you contact us (or we contact you) about the order and its performance, for the purpose of VAT invoicing, when you sign the LRT Archive's Works Licence Agreement:

13.1.3.1. Your order details: the Work ordered, duration, price, date and time of order placement; payment information: payment method, date and time, payment details (bank account number), VAT number, individual activity certificate code; delivery information: Your email address, phone number.

13.1.3.2. When you purchase the Works and sign the LRT Archive Works Licensing Agreement, the following information shall be provided at the time of the conclusion and signing of the Agreement: the date and number of the conclusion of the Agreement, your name, surname, personal identification number, address of your place of residence, VAT identification number, individual activity certificate number, bank account details (including, but not limited to, the bank account number), telephone number, and email address.

13.1.3.3. Once you have purchased the Works, information on the status and progress of your order: whether the order is ready, dispatched, etc: Your email address, phone number.

13.1.3.4. Communication data: information about communication and interaction with you on matters relating to your order and its performance, and other information to support communication.

13.1.3.5. Other information: an indication that you have familiarised yourself with the Rules of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (hereinafter referred to as “LRT”) Archive's Audiovisual and Sound Recordings Licensing Electronic Shop archyvai.lrt.lt, the LRT Archive's Licensing Agreement, and the present Privacy Policy, and the date and time of familiarisation.

13.2. The basis for processing personal data is where the processing is necessary for the purpose of entering into and performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or for the purpose of taking action with respect to the data subject prior to the conclusion of the contract, i.e., for the purpose of concluding, administering, and performing the LRT Archive's Works Licensing Contract, which has been entered into by and between you and the LRT, or for the purpose of performing a legal obligation owed by the data controller.

13.3. Retention period for personal data:

13.3.1. Your identification, contact and registration data will be stored for 10 years from the date of the last transaction, or 10 years from the date of the creation of your account if you have not made a transaction. We may keep your consent and proof of consent for a longer period of time if we need to do so in order to defend ourselves against claims, demands or actions brought against us.

13.3.2. Communication data needed to communicate with you when you contact us for an order, for information, to lodge a complaint or other data needed to communicate with us - 1 month from the date of the contact, request, however, in certain cases, if you have lodged a complaint, we may keep the consent you have given us and the evidence of it, and the evidence of the communication, for a longer period of time, if necessary, in order to be able to defend against any claims, complaints or lawsuits brought against us.

13.3.3. Purchase data - 10 years from the date of the transaction.

13.3.4. The contract specifies 10 years from the date of signature and entry into force.

14. Processing of your personal data when you participate in non-permanent competitions organised by LRT, when you take tests published on our portal www.lrt.lt and/or our https://www.facebook.com/LRT.LT account.

14.1. When you participate in non-permanent competitions organised by LRT, when you take part in tests published on our web portal www.lrt.lt, (eg. https://www.lrt.lt/projektai/auksinis-protas etc.), we may collect and process the following registration data:

14.1.1. Your name, telephone number and/or email address, reply information.

14.1.2. Your actions, including technical data (IP address, login technical information), performance data (e.g. competition, test results).

14.2. When you participate in non-permanent competitions organised by LRT and published on our social network account https://www.facebook.com/LRT.LT we may collect and process the following registration data:

14.2.1. Your name, surname or Facebook username, email address.

14.2.2. Your actions, including technical data (IP address, login technical information), performance data (e.g. competition, test results).

14.3. The basis for processing your personal data is the consent you provide when registering to take part in the competition, to take the test.

14.4. Any personal data we collect (e.g. your contact details) is necessary not only to ensure the smooth running of your participation, but also to enable LRT, as the organiser of the competition, to fulfil its obligations to you (e.g. contacting you to collect the prize or to take part in the filming of the competition).

14.5. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

14.6. We keep your personal data for as long as you are registered. If you cancel your registration, your data will be deleted immediately.

15. Cases in which your personal data may be disclosed to third parties.

15.1. We ensure that your personal data will not be provided or otherwise transferred to third parties without lawful basis or used for purposes other than those for which it was collected.

15.2. However, in certain cases, where it is necessary for the provision of the service, is required by law or is necessary for the pursuit of LRT's legitimate interests, your personal data may be provided:

15.2.1. our contractual partners (data processors) who are used to performing a specific service (e.g. sending newsletters, controlling access to LRT, etc.). We have data processing agreements with these persons, which require us to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected and that your personal data is processed only to the extent necessary for the purposes of the contract;

15.2.2. to courts, pre-trial investigation bodies, prosecutors, criminal intelligence authorities, emergency services, if required by law or necessary to protect your interests or those of others;

15.2.3. service providers providing legal, audit and other professional services, insofar as it is necessary to ensure the legitimate interests of LRT;

15.2.4. data recipients - third parties who receive your personal data in order to fulfil our obligations to you (e.g. companies that have set up a prize in competitions organised by LRT).

16. Personal data protection.

16.1. We take all the necessary steps to ensure the security of your personal data in order to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure or any unauthorised processing.

16.2. We apply data access control to our activities, which means that all our employees, as well as administrators of information systems and databases, and external service providers, have access only to the data they need to perform their functions.

16.3. We have software, computer network and hardware security in place and an effective data and information systems software backup and recovery policy.

16.4. All our employees who process personal data have signed confidentiality undertakings and our external service providers (data processors) have signed data processing agreements. We periodically train our staff on personal data protection.

16.5. If we become aware of a breach of security of your personal data, we will immediately inform you and the supervisory authority, and we will take all possible measures to avoid any negative consequences for you.

16.6. Please note that due to its technological characteristics, email is not a secure way of transmitting personal data without additional data encryption measures. If you need to transmit personal data to LRT by email when communicating with LRT, e.g. when sending data for the purpose of concluding a contract or drafting an article, please encrypt the data and transmit the password to us via another communication channel, e.g. by sending an SMS message to the recipient of the email or by phone. By sending personal data unencrypted, you assume the risk of possible disclosure.

17. Data subject rights and their implementation.

17.1. The law gives you many rights that you can freely exercise, and it is our responsibility to ensure that you can do so. We provide information about your specific rights and how to exercise them in this Privacy Policy:

17.1.1. The right to have access to your personal data processed by us. You have the right to obtain our confirmation as to whether we are processing your personal data, as well as the right to have access to your personal data processed by us and to information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of data processed, the duration of the processing, and the sources of the data. We provide most of this information to you in this Privacy Policy. If you find the information provided in this Privacy Policy inadequate, you may contact us for further information;

17.1.2. Right to rectification of personal data. If the data you have provided to us in your registration forms or otherwise has changed, or if you believe that the information, we are processing about you is inaccurate or incorrect, you have the right to request that this information be changed, revised or corrected;

17.1.3. Right to withdraw consent. Where we process your data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and the processing based on your consent will cease. In some cases, this may mean that we may no longer be able to provide you with further access to our services. You may modify (withdraw or re-grant) your consent by submitting updated registration forms or by contacting us by other means. Where possible, we have made it possible for you to withdraw the consent you have given us in the simplest possible way. For example, for mobile app services, you have the option to unsubscribe from the mobile app, which is equivalent to withdrawing your consent; for newsletter services, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter service by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the end of each newsletter, which is equivalent to withdrawing your consent. In any case, any withdrawal of your consent may be requested by email (lrt@lrt.lt; dap@lrt.lt) or by telephone (+3705 236 3000). If your consent expires, is withdrawn or revoked, we will delete the data processed with your consent. In any case, we will keep your consent for one year from the date on which you gave your consent in order to be able to defend ourselves against any claims, demands or actions brought against us;

17.1.4. Right to complain. If you believe that we are processing your data in breach of the law, we always ask you to contact us directly in the first instance. We trust that we will be able to resolve any doubts you may have, satisfy your requests and correct any mistakes we may have made. If you are not satisfied with the solution we propose to resolve the problem, or if, in your opinion, we do not take the necessary steps to comply with your request, you will have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in the Republic of Lithuania is the State Data Protection Inspectorate, or, in the case of processing for journalistic purposes, the Inspector of Journalistic Ethics;

17.1.5. Right to erasure (right to be forgotten). In certain circumstances listed in the legislation (where personal data is processed unlawfully, the basis for processing has ceased to exist, etc.), you have the right to request that we delete your personal data. It is important to note that the personal data you have provided to us will be deleted without your separate request if you withdraw your consent or after the expiry of the data processing period specified in this Privacy Policy;

17.1.6. Right to restrict processing. In certain circumstances listed in the legislation (where personal data is processed unlawfully, you contest the accuracy of the data, etc.), you have the right to restrict the processing of your data. However, we must point out that due to the restriction of processing and during the period of such restriction, we may not be able to provide services to you;

17.1.7. Right to data portability. You have the right to transfer to another controller the data which we process on the basis of your consent and the processing of which is carried out by automated means. We will provide you with the data you have requested to be transferred in a format that is commonly used in our systems and that is computer-readable, or, if you wish and if technically feasible, we will transfer the data directly to the other data controller you have indicated.

17.2. If you wish to make a request to us regarding our processing of your personal data, please submit it in writing in person, by post or by electronic means.

17.3. In order to protect your data from unauthorised disclosure, we will be obliged to identify you when we receive your request for data or to exercise your other rights. You have the right to exercise your rights by submitting a written request to us in person, by post or by email. In order to exercise your right properly and safely as a data subject and to prevent unlawful acts (e.g. attempts by others to obtain confidential information about you), we are obliged to verify the identity of an individual at the request of the data subject. In this context, please use the following methods to request the exercise of the data subject's rights: 1) Deliver the application in person to Konarskio g. 49, Vilnius. In this case, You will have to prove your identity by providing proof of identity; 2) By sending an application signed with a simple or qualified electronic signature to dap@lrt.lt or lrt@lrt.lt. Your legal representative may also submit a request, in which case please attach proof of representation to your request. These requirements do not apply, if you wish to withdraw your consent to receive direct marketing communications or newsletters.

17.4. Upon receipt of your request for the exercise of any of your rights, and once we are satisfied as to your identity, we undertake to provide you with information about the action we have taken in response to your request without undue delay, and at the latest within one month of receiving your request. If your request requires a very large amount of information or is difficult to implement due to other objective circumstances, the deadline for implementing the request may be extended by two months, in which case you will be informed of the extension and the reasons for it.

17.5. If your request is made by electronic means, we will also respond to you by electronic means, unless you ask us to respond in another way.

17.6. Please note that where personal data are processed for journalistic purposes or for purposes of academic, artistic or literary expression, the requirements of the Regulation governing the rights of data subjects described above do not apply, and in these cases your ability to exercise these rights may be limited.

18. Links to other websites

18.1. Please note that the LRT website or mobile applications contain links to other websites, including websites operated by third parties, which are not subject to this Privacy Policy and may have substantially different privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of each such website before providing any information that identifies you.

19. Validity and changes to the Privacy Policy.

19.1. The Privacy Policy and any amendments thereto shall enter into force and apply from the date of its publication on our website.

19.2. LRT is constantly developing its activities, offering new services and functionalities, therefore the provisions of the Privacy Policy related to the processing of your personal data may be subject to change. In order to learn about the processing of your personal data or to submit a request for the exercise of your rights as a personal data subject, please make sure that you follow the current version of the Privacy Policy.

19.3. If we change this Privacy Policy or post an updated version of this Privacy Policy, we will, in all cases, provide the date of the update.
